Problem solved!

Anyone of you with a DSLR had probably experienced the same problem as I did. DSLR use AA rechargeable batteries. However, rechargeable batteries take too long to charge up. Plus, they need to be used immediately after charging because they automatically discharge in a few days or so.

On time I went on a four day hike with my trigger happy friends. We went to a mountain cabin with no electricity. I had a lot of rechargeable batteries ready. However on the fourth day, most of the batteries were already discharged without me even using them. It was quite unfortunate for me because the last day was the clearest day. If I only had batteries then I could have taken better shots.

Last week, a friend of mine found the solution to my problem. He found eneloops from thomasdistributing. These batteries retain their charge up to 12 months. They discharge very slowly so they are ideal for long trips. Finally, problem solved!
